Multiple sounds, different time signatures (including _no_ time signature when you want a steady beat without emphasis), self-evident controls, and the ability to save multiple tempos as "presets" make this an excellent tool.

As a big band drummer I need a perfect metronome. This is that what I need! Its very recommended for practice and stage.

Works well, easy to use for kids violin practice. Though it displayed a metronome ticking back and forth, but it does not. If it did, that would be five stars!

My 10 year old son uses it when he plays the piano. Hes going to use it right away, and has never had a problem.

Do it! It even remembers what tempos you are working on. I would like a few more options in terms of the clicks but the 5 they have are fine

This App works really well for helping me maintain my pace for the rehab of my knee. I have to do various exercises for certain lengths of time. This really does the trick!

This app is very good. Although basic, this is exactly what 90% of all people need, basic, simple, and easy to use. As a former musician, this app is perfect for young musicians and dancers who need to practice rhythm. I highly recommend it if this is what you need.

I hook my I phone up to my little bookshelf stereo via "line in" and then crank it up while practicing. Excellent, simple app.

Im learning to play the ukulele. I have had very little musical training and needed some help with keeping the best. This is a great app. It is flexible and simple to use. It is really helping my practice sessions. Highly recommend.

Needs more/different sound options. Doesnt work with my Bluetooth headset.

It used to work fine until I upgraded to iOS 8. Now the tempo slider seems to have disappeared! I tried deleting this, then reinstalling, but it still didnt show up. That was a very convenient feature, as I am always changing tempo when I practice, increasing as I go. (I play mandolin). Now I have to find another metronome....
